it is always a good day when you get to hold a sweet little freshie and welcome them to the world at their newborn photo session. say hola to this adorable little sweetie!

lets go adventuring! this senior portrait shoot was so much fun. mikayla was fierce hiking to the waterfall and then jumping in the water for some pics. i love the whimsy of her white dress and the camping vibe with her flannel and duck boots. there were so many shots that i loved from this session!

happy graduation ali!! this brown eyed beauty had me humming van morrison’s, “brown eyed girl” as i edited her photos. ali is upbeat as the song and has a carefree vibe…………… Sha la la la la la la la la la la dee dah Dee dah dee dah dee dah dee dah dee dah dee Sha la la la la la la la la la la la la Dee dah la dee dah la dee dah la D-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d!

i love my first year family portrait sessions. it is so fun to watch my whitebox babies grow from their newborn shoot to their 6-8 month shoot to their first birthday session. it is hard to believe that little john arnold is already 6 months! he is such a happy little guy- you gotta love his gummy little smile!

olivia was so much fun to photograph! her easy laugh and eclectic style shines through in her senior portrait shoot. it was so hard to narrow down her images because i loved so many of them. Face Forward and The Prettiest Pieces helped make this session magic!

it was so much fun photographing lilia in the beautiful state of georgia! lilia is a very talented swimmer looking forward to a bright future! congrats lilia!

the senior model photoshoot is one of my most favorite days of the year!  after weeks of dreaming, planning, pinning, prop making and shopping it is so rewarding to see my creative vision come to life.  the senior model sessions would never work without the amazing team that i have and the super seniors that i select each year.  a huge thank you to carla white, kallos salon, sarah broyhill, ann loftis, melea and cliff schneider!

this year’s woodland wonderland senior model shoot was one for the books!  the girls, the wardrobe and the styling were on point, but mother nature threw us a curve ball.  just as the last few girls were finishing up with hair and make-up the bottom fell out of the sky.  it poured and there was no end in sight until after dark.  as a natural light photographer you have to adapt or die!  although some of my plans for locations and lighting did not work out i am so happy with the imagery that we were able to create at this senior model shoot.  my seniors did not let the pouring rain dampen their mood.  we embraced the monsoons and danced in the rain!

perfect warm weather celebration of this cutie pie’s big milestone of 1! who needs cake smashin’ when you can have plenty of splashin’?! … with popsicles and cupcakes to boot!
