LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the colors in this shoot!!

Can you believe this tree?  Amazing…and Kristin chose the perfect color to go with it!

Kristin + Bennett first noticed each other in the mail room at Elon.  It is fascinating how we end up finding love!

I had a great morning hanging out in Chapel Hill with these two and their sweet doggie!  We had the most perfect weather and finished up with lunch at Chipotle- yum!

katherine and grant and their adorable pup, reagan, met me in charlotte for their loveshoot.  i love all of the fun colors in their photos!

their wedding at duke chapel and reception at ferrington is going to be a-mazing!  i can’t wait to work with this super couple on their big day.

what a cute dog!

elise and matt met 6 years ago at u penn.

the city of brotherly love is beautiful! u penn’s campus was at the height of fall beauty.

then we headed over to the philadelphia museum of art.  it was fun to watch every tourist that visited run up the steps humming the theme to rocky!

michelle and eric are such a great couple.  they just light up when they look at each other!

i can’t wait for their upcoming wedding at raffaldini vineyards.  it is such a gorgeous location!

michelle and eric brought their sweet golden, vegas, along for a few shots.  i heart goldens!

Challenge:  Get those pictures off your hard drive and onto your wall!  It is a daunting task…as I well know.. the wall over my couch has been bare for the last three years and I’m a photographer!  It’s really hard to choose a huge piece of art because you’ll have to really LOVE it for years.  So, I decided a wall gallery is probably the best way to go for me.  Here are some options that I really like:

My fav:  Perfect Picture Wall.  They mail you the wall template AND the frames, all you have to do is add the pics… and it’s super affordable.  They have modern frames and more traditional options.

If your house is a little more traditional, Michael’s has some great wall template galleries too.

I also really love the layout of this gallery that I borrowed from Tara Whitney‘s blog.  It is a great example of how to use lifestyle portrait photography in a REAL home.  Thanks Tara and Visty for the inspiration!  I seriously LOVE those curtains too!

So- lovely clients- please send us photos of how you’ve hung your whitebox photos!  We’d love to feature them here on the blog!  I’ll post some pics of the wall gallery over my couch… as soon as I get it finished!

I met Eboni + Taylor on the day before they were going to their 10 year high school reunion.  They have known each other since middle school but they thought everyone from high school would be really surprised to find out that they were engaged.  I’m not surprised though b/c these two work out great together- classic meets quirky!

i can’t wait to show you guys the photos from dianne and mike’s montana ranch wedding!  to hold you over until they are ready, check out my favorites from their loveshoot in missoula.  go grizz!

love these tilt shift shots from tania lezak!

Big props to Fiona + Alistair for walking all over Dumbo in their formal clothes- it’s a long way up to the bridge in heels!  Alistair sweated it out in his tux, but it was worth it!  People must’ve thought they were celebrities b/c they kept stopping us to take F+ A’s pic 🙂

From Hong Kong to NYC…let the epic loveShoot begin!

So, Alistair made a move on Fiona while she was mattress shopping with her mom in Ikea…. pretty brave!  Guess it worked!

I love all of the clothes that Fiona chose for the shoot but I especially love this dress!
