so much joy to go around during this love/family shoot! i am so excited to be photographing kathleen + glenn’s wedding coming up soon and how heartwarming it was to include the kiddos during their ‘love shoot!’  it was lots of fun on the whitebox photo farm making memories for such a sweet couple!

alice and isaac have pretty much know each other since birth because their parents were friends. they went to school together on and off through the years and were friends but never more than that. they were even both chosen from their kindergarten class to be the mascots for the senior class. they reconnected at uncg and this time things just clicked! they had so many sentimental locations to visit that we spent one day in greensboro and then one day in their home town of elkin. we even recreated the photo with them as kindergarten mascots!

i love this shoot of preppy perfection at elon university.  elon has such a beautiful campus and it is a special place for taylor + jon.  i can’t wait to shoot their wedding next spring at one of my favorite places on earth- bald head island!

i am so excited to shoot aubrey + kort’s upcoming wedding at the cotton room this summer!  i guess their love is so strong that it kept them warm and smiling….you can’t tell that it was about 20 degrees on the day of their shoot!

lauren and brad’s love story began years ago when they first met at cafe europa.  luckily brad decided to stick with lauren even after she spilled wine all over him!  brad and lauren are big mad men fans, so i love our first few mad men inspired shots.  then we went by their house and picked up their adorable rescue pup and headed to the park for a picnic.  i can’t wait for their fall wedding at adaumont farm.

i could not decide if i like the color or black and white best.  lauren’s red hair is just so gorgeous!  what do you think?

i can’t wait to shoot amanda and ryan’s wedding at adaumont farms this fall!  amanda is so gorgeous.  she looks like a glamorous vintage movie star.  i am sure she is going to look amazing in her dress!

i am back at the studio after a wonderful holiday followed by a not so wonderful week with the flu attacking my whole family, but anyways, it is good to be back!  last year was my busiest year ever!  i am taking the next month to catch up, organize and prep for the spring.  first on my list is to catch up a bit on blogging.  i had so many gorgeous sessions that i did not get to share yet.  i love the colors in this loveshoot session with emily and loren at old salem.

richmond is such a beautiful city!  i had a lovely sunny fall afternoon with lauren and casey during their loveshoot in richmond.  lauren is an excellent photo location scout!

it was a bit windy in the outer banks and we did not get to take our sunset loveshoot cruise on the water as planned, but it was still a great afternoon hanging out with sydney and lee and their pups on the beach!
