i always love photographing other photographers! cari chee and her husband are relocating and they wanted a shoot to commemorate their time in greensboro. cari and phil have been married for years, but they still act like newlyweds. they brought their sweet puppies out to my farm for their loveshoot.
i just did my first, for lack of a better name, boudoir photo shoot. i was a little bit nervous about it, but it was a really great experience. some photographers view it as a way for women to make sexy photos for their husbands, but i approached the shoot as a way to make a women feel beautiful about herself, for herself. the added bonus is that there will be some really gorgeous images that i am sure any significant other would greatly appreciate! ; ) i wanted the images to be fresh, fun, beautiful and natural. my client and i talked about her clothing options, what kind of hair and make-up she liked and if she had any areas of her body that she wanted to de-emphasize as well as what was her favorite feature. herita jones did a wonderful job with the hair a make-up so that my client looked natural. we were going for a girl next door/ bed head look.

emerson and louise are two of the best little babies! these twins were so good during their newborn photo session. it is apparent how much they love each other already because louise kept trying to kiss (and eat) her brother during the photo shoot. i love that they are twins, but they each have their own look and personality. so sweet!
i love this family and all of their silly antics. it is always like a big play date when we get together for a photoshoot.
it all started with a beautiful wedding in wilminton, nc that we were lucky enough to photograph a few years back…….and now ruby and rob are expecting a beautiful little boy this spring! ruby has the most contagious laugh. we laughed our way all over downtown winston for their maternity photo session. : ) i can’t wait to meet manuel when he arrives for his newborn photo shoot!
you can see hannah’s vibrant personality and sweetness shine through in her gorgeous smile! she looked amazing for her senior portrait session and i was especially in love with her turquoise cowboy boots!
carmen is one of the nicest people that i know. seriously, this girl is so thoughtful, sweet, intelligent and not to mention, absolutely gorgeous! i love carmen’s vintage style.
this little munchkin toughed out some cold temperatures during her photo session downtown, greensboro. she definitely earned the hot coca she got at the end!
aly has grown up so much since i first photographed her! she is an amazing dancer, a beam of sunshine and a walking, talking, one woman entertainment show!
