Who: Ruby + Rob
Their Story:
Rob and Ruby met at Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville, NC. They were in homeroom together, as both their last names start with “R.” Ruby introduced herself to Rob during Mr. Kimball’s Physcial Science class. Their first conversation consisted of Ruby not believing Rob that he had his driver’s permit already.
Rob and Ruby were good friends throughout high school. They sat next to each other in the lunch room senior year, and Rob walked Ruby back to class afterwards. They never dated in high school, but always had a crush on one another.
After high school, Ruby went to UNCW and Rob went to ECU. So… When did they meet again?? It was the summer after freshman year of college. Ruby came home to work at Texas Roadhouse, her high school part-time job. Rob came home after finishing up basic training. Note: After Rob’s first semester of college, he joined the Army National Guard. He later returned to ECU. They saw each other one night after work, and literally have not been apart since.
Throughout the years, they have lived in various cities and even countries around the world. Note: Rob was sent to Iraq for 10 months during his sophmore year of college. Ruby studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador. They kept a strong long distance relationship, and never gave up on their love. The rest is history!

Thanks for second shooting with me Tania!
the first time we photographed the wood family out on the farm the baby was just that, a baby! now she is 4 years old. the girls get sweeter and prettier every year.
i love this family!
maureen, our super-duper-amazing studio manager, has three great kiddos! we did a quick photo shoot at the lake house this summer and i promised i would get her photos to her in time to make christmas presents. : )
the good thing about having a photographer in your family is that they take lots of photos at family gatherings. the bad thing is that the family photos get put on the bottom of the to do list! this summer we had a mini family reunion of my dad’s side of the family at the lake. i wish my dad was still here. he would have loved driving the boats and talking the kids into jumping off the boathouse roof.
little bella was such a good baby during her first photoshoot. this kid has the best hair ever!
the little white dress was bella’s mom’s dress. how sweet is that?
the little diva!
