each year high school juniors throughout the triad apply to be part of the whitebox senior model photoshoot.  every year the photoshoot is inspired by fashion current trends-boho is hot this year and 2017 is the 50 year anniversary of the ‘summer of love,’ so we decided to take a trip back in time for a hippie-inspired fashion shoot.  i had so much fun styling this shoot and coming up with the concepts to bring this idea to life! we had an amazing group of girls apply for the class of 2017! there were so many smiles and laughs on this shoot…good vibes. 😉  sit back and get comfy and prepare for a mega blog post of my favorite images!

meghana is one of my class of 2016 whitebox senior models. i am so impressed with this girl! she just returned from a summer of amazing adventure and service with young life. meghana traveled from ethiopia to michigan spreading her sunshine. she is smart, articulate and so full of joy. i am so excited for her as she officially kicks off her senior year next week!

katie loves fashion and i loved that she brought her stash of fashion mags to the shoot!  katie has a magnetic personality and i know she will go far chasing her dreams next year!

i love these senior portrait images of bennett on his friends farm.  he is an old soul and i feel like these portraits really reflect what a sweet guy he is!

all of this snow has me longing for lush green grass and sunny days like in these photos from last years senior fashion photo session.

i have been pinning away on my secret inspiration board for my BIG whitebox senior fashion shoot for the class of 2016 and it is going to be AWESOME!  now is the time to get ready for spring and to put in your application to be a whitebox senior model for the class of 2016.   if you are currently a junior then make use of this snow day and get your application in!  applications are accepted today-march 8th.

marisa and i have so much in common that we really bonded during our session.  she is artsy, loves photography, loves animals and wants to live on a mini farm.  her session was so much fun because i feel like every look showed a different side of her personality.

another beautiful red head for the blog!  sara was one of my senior models this year and i have to say she is the whole package.  she is hard working, smart, funny, with a touch of sass.
