what better way to spend your birthday than surrounded by your children and your grandchildren! it makes my heart so happy that i was able to capture these memories for this sweet family as they celebrated the matriarch of their family on her birthday!
i have so many senior sessions to post! seniors are one of my favorite groups to photograph. it is so fun to meet these kids before they head off to college. steph is a natural because with a classic style. i love the red, white and blue theme going on in steph’s senior portrait session.
triston is a super talented football player and a soccer star, but apparently his hidden talent is styling, lol! his mom was out of town during his senior portrait shoot so he came up with all of his outfits on his own. he did a great job! it is always a fun to do shoot when your model is also collaborator. triston had some great ideas for poses and locations. i’d say that we make a pretty good team! i love the way his senior portrait images turned out.
lets go adventuring! this senior portrait shoot was so much fun. mikayla was fierce hiking to the waterfall and then jumping in the water for some pics. i love the whimsy of her white dress and the camping vibe with her flannel and duck boots. there were so many shots that i loved from this session!

these girls have been friends since kindergarten. since then they have each gone their own way and thru the years they have each moved to different schools, but have maintained the best kind of friendship…the kind where you can go months without seeing one another and then pick up right where you left off. i have loved watching them all grow into beautiful, smart, talented and individual free-spirits over the past 9 years. finding loving and supportive friends to make up your tribe at a young age is such a gift!
these photos are a glimpse at how fast life changes and how fast kids grow up. only a couple of months ago jared was a senior in high school and living at home and now he is off to his first semester at college!
the village of pinehurst is so quaint and a golfers paradise. it was the perfect setting for this little guys one year old portrait session. he is named after a famous golfer after all!
this family!!! what can i say? they are one of the coolest, kindest and most loving peeps that i know. first up, the parents….ummm, i mean, how in love are they? seeing them working as a team and loving parenting together is awesome. next up, the kids….three boys, all totally unique in their personalities and celebrated by each other and their parents for their individual talents. when you have two awesome parents you wind up with pretty awesome kids!
