these two families spends lots and lots of time together at endless swim meets and swim practice, but that is still not enough time! from music festivals, to camping trips to kayaking on the river these kids are always up for adventure! this is a mega blog post because we could not stop coming up with fun ideas for their photoshoot….dance parties in the city streets, zombie slaying, glamping….
i am so happy to introduce a fabulous group of girls! these lovely ladies are my hand picked group of whitebox senior models for the class of 2015. out of all of the applicants for the whitebox senior model program these girls were chosen for their outgoing personalities and their beauty that radiates from the inside to the outside.
we had so much fun on our senior fashion shoot this year! the girls were treated to professional hair, make-up by carla white hair and make-up, kristina overton of kallos salon and angela gilbert-lites. we also had an amazing stylist on set, hanna garner of maven. grace kannoy of geocore films tagged along to capture some behind the scenes magic of the day. we had two “looks” for our fashion photo shoot. below are some of my favorites from our rock and roll style session. stay tuned for part II!
check out our behind the scenes video from our stylized senior fashion photo shoot!
kelly and mark met on the campus of UNCG so it was only appropriate that that is where we shot their engagement photos. i can’t wait for their big day at revolution mill studios this fall!
first year sessions are my favorite because i get to see how much my tiniest clients have grown since is photographed their newborn images. i have loved getting to know this awesome family over the past year.
i am back at the studio after a wonderful holiday followed by a not so wonderful week with the flu attacking my whole family, but anyways, it is good to be back! last year was my busiest year ever! i am taking the next month to catch up, organize and prep for the spring. first on my list is to catch up a bit on blogging. i had so many gorgeous sessions that i did not get to share yet. i love the colors in this loveshoot session with emily and loren at old salem.
i feel so blessed to have worked with so many amazing couples this year like carrie and nick. there are so many photos in this blog post because there was just so much joy and happiness at this wedding that i had a hard time picking my favorites! carrie and nick are so in love with each other, but the wonderful thing about their relationship is how they brought two families together. carrie and nick’s families are friends….at times it was hard to tell who was related to who because everyone at the wedding acted as one big, happy family!

if zooey deschanel ever needs someone to play her as a child or to cast a kid to play her daughter they just need to call willow. how cute is this kid with her bright blue eyes and dark brown hair?
it was so fun to catch up with amy and her family. i won’t tell you how many years it has been since we have seen each other, but we were friends way back in our college days. her kids are so adorable!
sometimes you just need mamma’s hair and a bottle!
and sometimes you need a little bribe from the photographer. ; )
