Eboni + Taylor started the New Year off right and didn’t let a rainy day get them down!

One of my favorite people I’ve ever shot for Our State is in this month’s issue!  Gladys is an amazing woman with an amazing life story and she makes a mean breakfast!  I had a bit of a crazy trip getting down to Ocracoke to photograph her.  I drove the 7 hours to Hatteras and arrived at about 2 am, slept a few hours and caught the 5 am ferry so that I could meet Gladys bright and early at 6 am.  Let’s just say, at 70 years old, she has WAY more energy than me!

If you’re headed to Ocracoke and planning to stay at The Castle Bed & Breakfast, you’re in for a treat!

anna + austin were workin’ it for the camera on their downtown photo shoot!
