josh and i went to junior high together. it was so fun to see him as a grown up and to meet his fabulous bride. i can tell that these two will always have fun together. i loved watching them together….you can seel that they are so happy and so full of love for each other!

the proximity hotel has such beautiful light.  i love shooting there!  it was the perfect setting for roxanne and lacon’s intimate wedding.  it was beautiful to see this sweet couple surrounded by their friends and family as they said “i do” in a ceremony performed by the grooms grandmother.

there was so much love and laughter at sarah and nate’s pinehurst wedding.  there are lots of kissing pictures with this group….not just the bride and groom, but everyone!   i photographed sarah’s brothers wedding a few years ago, so it was like getting to work with family when i began working with sarah and nate last year at their loveshoot.  one of the best parts of my job is getting to know so many great people and building relationships that span the width of their family.  there were so many great moments with this crew that it was hard to narrow the photos down.  enjoy!  thanks to all of the wonderful vendors, k2 productions, the village chapel, pinehurst resort, and aldena frye floral design!

blue skies and the cool sea breeze made bald head island the most perfect setting for taylor and jon to say i do.  it was preppy perfection!

it is flashback friday today… going back to that rainy day in november in the highlands of emily + jon’s beautiful wedding!

i always love shooting at the cottom room in durham because the light is amazing and there are so many great locations for photos.  aubrey and kort are such an awesome couple and their family and wedding party were so great to work with! their wedding day was full of beautiful details with hints of whimsy that reflect their fun-loving approach to life! the day was filled with lots of laughing, loving, and dancing. congrats aubrey + kort!
