it was so great to have this sweet family out at the whitebox farm! the last time we had a photo shoot, there was only 1 kiddo… the cuteness keeps growing!

charleston is a beautiful place for kathleen and reed to celebrate their upcoming wedding this summer! can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the lovely washington & duke inn this august!

ahhhhh, merlefest……..a long weekend of so much musical talent!  it is one of the best festivals i have ever been to.  so many amazing volunteers help make it happen and the organizers of merlefest run the festival like a well oiled machine.  here are just a few of the great artists that i got to see.  a lof the crowd shots feature my two favorite little festival goers, my kids, eliza and ryder.  i love shooting for merlefest!

album hour was to die for!!! they covered the eagles greatest hits and wove in some other great musical greats into the songs….the beatles, earth wind and fire and prince were are few of the featured musical greats.

suzie and i go wayyy back to photography school… it was awesome to have her out at the studio and farm for some fun and catching up! she is so sweet and i am excited for her to launch her new photography business!

this kid had such energy and loves to explore nature!  i enjoyed photographing him at lake norman and in the pretty downtown area of cornelius, nc… lars is so sweet, he even picked us some wildflowers at the end of the session!

danlee is super excited to be going to college at carolina! she even wore some cute carolina blue earrings for some of the session to show off her excitement… congratulations danlee!

this kid…..this kid is gonna be a heartbreaker.  those blue eyes, his cool kid style and his devilish little smile is the cutest!

happy belated 12rh birthday to this sweet guy!  strawberry blonde hair, emerald eyes, and freckles… oh my goodness! how cute is this kiddo? elijah has got the classic look and we had lots of fun during this urban style session!
