on my last trip to atlanta i met up with this sweet little guy and his parents.

i love how totally uninterested sammy looks in the kissing shot.

sammy in his swing.  one of his favorite pastimes.

love that little smile!

Challenge:  Get those pictures off your hard drive and onto your wall!  It is a daunting task…as I well know.. the wall over my couch has been bare for the last three years and I’m a photographer!  It’s really hard to choose a huge piece of art because you’ll have to really LOVE it for years.  So, I decided a wall gallery is probably the best way to go for me.  Here are some options that I really like:

My fav:  Perfect Picture Wall.  They mail you the wall template AND the frames, all you have to do is add the pics… and it’s super affordable.  They have modern frames and more traditional options.

If your house is a little more traditional, Michael’s has some great wall template galleries too.

I also really love the layout of this gallery that I borrowed from Tara Whitney‘s blog.  It is a great example of how to use lifestyle portrait photography in a REAL home.  Thanks Tara and Visty for the inspiration!  I seriously LOVE those curtains too!

So- lovely clients- please send us photos of how you’ve hung your whitebox photos!  We’d love to feature them here on the blog!  I’ll post some pics of the wall gallery over my couch… as soon as I get it finished!

Oh geez… cute overload!

Meet Jane, Dave, Liv, and Maizie, we always invade their house anytime we are shooting in the NJ/NY area!  Thanks for being our home away from home!

I have been photographing Catherine since she was just a little bean.  So fun to play on the beach with this sweet little family!  Love that early morning light.

a few years ago i had the pleasure of shooting lili and corey’s fabulous destination wedding in mexico.  they are an awesome couple and now great parents!  i was so excited to meet their precious little boy.  he was such a good baby on his debut photo shoot!

i love photographing the same family year after year.  it really gives us a chance to bond with the kids and it is fun to watch them grow!  i love the wood family.  : ) these girls are so sweet!  last year the “baby”, although is is not a baby anymore, was just learning to walk holding her mommy’s hands.  this year she was running around with the big girls!

Happy Birthday Clark!

SO many posts coming up… here are a few that I’m working on!
